Why did you become a hairdresser?

Hair was always something I've wanted to do since I was a little girl. I used to cut my Barbies hair and dream about one day becoming a hair stylist. After years of putting school on the back burner, my husband encouraged me to go back to school and do something that I am truly passionate about. I love caring for people, and there is no better way to care about someone than to make them feel good from the outside in!

What is your hair specialty?

I love designing cuts that will work with peoples hair needs. Whether that be creating something that requires minimal stylist at home, or creating and edgy look that turns heads.  I also love working with blondes.

 

What is your favourite type of music?

Being a musician myself, Jazz and Blues is my preferred genres. I do gigs often throughout the year at the basement, and I just love all types of music. Currently I love Garth Brooks and Lizzo. I love her body positivity and badassery.

Why do you love working at Revamp?

Who wouldn't love working at Revamp! The guests are lovely and the salon is so inviting and classy, plus the staff is second to none. I never thought I would work in a high end salon, but the encouragement I get from my co-workers on a daily basis is overwhelming and the respect we have for each other is inspiring. Our salon is involved in the most positive change in the hair industry so I'm luck that I get to be a part of it.
